Horgos, Serbia. Refugees wait in Horgos on the Serbian side of the Serbian/Hungarian border in hopes that the crossing would be opened. The border was sealed on the 14th of September by Hungarian authorities who announced that any refugees caught crossing could be punished with up to three years in prison. Thousands of refugees a day are entering into Serbia with the hopes of making it to Western Europe to seek asylum. are now stranded at the crossing with no idea of if or when it will open.
